10 Books that can help you better manage your time both at work and at home:

  1. "Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity" by David Allen
    • This classic book offers a comprehensive system for managing tasks and projects, reducing stress, and increasing productivity.
    • My takeaways from this book was a system to organize tasks around your work....which to do on computer, which to do while doing errands, etc. I also liked the long list of everything you believe you have to get done. Once it is written and out of your head, some of it is easy to cross off, get rid of, or combine with other tasks.
  2. "Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones" by James Clear
    • Learn how to build effective habits and break unproductive ones to make the most of your time.
    • My takeaway is that a habit done consistently builds with time to make you unstoppable.
  3. "Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World" by Cal Newport
    • Discover strategies to create a distraction-free work environment and maximize your productivity.
    • In my kindle waiting to be read.
  4. "The 4-Hour Workweek: Escape 9-5, Live Anywhere, and Join the New Rich" by Timothy Ferriss
    • This book offers unconventional approaches to time management, focusing on achieving more with less effort.
    • I love, love, love this book. It has had me tracking this ideal for years. I have read all of Tim's books and I watch his You tubes and listen to his podcasts. I don't agree with all of his opinions, but that makes this information no less valuable.
  5. "Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less" by Greg McKeown

Learn how to prioritize your tasks and focus on what truly matters, leading to more effective time management.Sounds interesting. I may add it to my books to read list. These books cover a range of time management techniques and strategies, from classic productivity methods to newer insights on habits and focus. Most of them I haven't read, YET. I will sample them on my Kindle and see if I like the writing style before I dig deeper into the top four. The fifth is near my bed since I read from it often.
