Sunday is funday
Ok, that was cheesy, I admit it. However we had a good time today. It was another satisfying day walking in the park, enjoying the coffee shop and thrifting for fun and savings. Or spending if you want to be honest. I found a great decorating book that showed rooms that looked like a place I could spend time relaxing. So many decorating books have pictures of spaces you couldn't set your coffee cup down in! Much less my books. If I am not surrounded, almost literally with books, I am less happy. Not unhappy, but certainly much less. I also got a ketovore cookbook.
We tried to find a waffle iron to replace a broken one. Can you believe we found one in three stores, but it was the type that needs a lot of counterspace? Three stores!!! Usually they overflow with waffle irons. We did find cords for my sweetheart and a nice peach tee for me. I also got a white belt for my spring/summer wardrobe.
My work week was less than satisfying. I blame myself more than anything. As I have gotten older, I find I prefer fast learners and easy going coworkers. Preferably the same PEOPLE. Drama is also overdone at times. Keeping calm and carrying on is my theme.
How have you been? Was Christmas full of friends and family? I sure hope so.
I have accepted a 30 day challenge to follow a specific diet plan. Measurements and weight will be done tomorrow and I will be on my carnivore plan. Basically this is ketovore churned down to basics. Healthwise I feel terrific when I follow this, I expect I will feel really well, and I will be eating somewhat boring. Eggs, bacon, burgers, fish, coffee. I allow myself my sugar free flavors in my coffee. What flavor is your favorite? I use mocha and raspberry a lot for treat coffee. It will be favored in this next 30 days.
Coffee treats: salted caramel with mocha, mocha and raspberry, caramel with vanilla, any of those alone with coffee. I had an almond milk with raspberry and mocha that was very tasty but doesn't follow this diet plan. Still good. It's available at the coffee shop closest to my place. I like having a coffee shop a 5 minute walk away. I must check it out more for writing.
Cedar fever is hitting this area. The cedar pollinates and many people experience allergy symptoms while this occurs. It lasts for a few months. It's uncomfortable and annoying. Winter used to be an allergy free season for myself. It's also seventy degrees out. Zyrtec for the win.
Eggs and bacon for breakfast tomorrow. Burger later. I plan on some sewing, some science reading, and just general relaxing.
What are you on the lookout for? This is my year for weaving, I am looking for a heddle loom, weaving looms, equipment, fibers, especially coned, and other fiber gadgets such as knitting machines and a serger. Putting this into the universe.
Let me know what you think!
