I am thinking of my "next life". What the heck is that?

If you are anything like me, you know...........it's the I can't or don't work at a job anymore, but that's boring what do I do and the list goes on in your head. I bet you went from those words yourself and started down the list of things in your brain that comes out on that anxiety provoking trail.

I have a list. OF COURSE. I always have lists. I am the type to have lists of lists. And I like seeing others' lists! I made a few different mindmaps. I like mindmaps better.

Basically my favorite came from a Zelinski book on retirement. I start with me in the center. Then my spokes include physical health. EXERCISE. Dancing for me. Walking. Hiking. Bicycling is fun although I rarely do it.

Another spoke is things I want to learn. Languages gets multiple spokes. I speak a few words only in a couple of non native languages. Geography. Geology. This is an extensive list. I dedicate at least an hour a week to each of several topics.

Travel. Where do I want to go...one spoke. Cruises, although it's it's own spoke, I mostly have Mediterranean cruise and Alaskan cruise. Places to see. Things to see. Roads to travel. People to meet. Mini travel for me equals Chinatown. Or in Idaho there were Basque restaurants, Greek festivals, the Oregon trail. Some interesting places are right near you. Spend a day going to another culture's preferred grocery store. Pick out items and go home and try a new recipe.

Sewing and quilting. Take classes. Finish projects. Start new projects. Learn a new craft and see if it "brings you joy".

I have been on this crazy train for months. I am writing daily on a new series of urban paranormal novels. I blog. I think. And of course I read.....
